This privacy statement aims to inform you about the processing of personal data carried out by NV Hegge.

NV Hegge is responsible for processing your personal data.

The lawfulness of processing and the security and confidentiality of personal data is essential to us.

We therefore treat your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR")) and the Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Processing of personal data

The term "personal data" includes any information about an identified or identifiable natural person, such as your name, your identification number, your location data, your IP address, your contact details, personal characteristics, health data, as well as agreements entered into by you and other documents that allow you to be identified.

The term "processing" means every possible action that can be taken with regard to your personal data, from its collection to its communication to its destruction.

Personal data processed

General

The processing of your personal data only relates to and is limited to the services offered by us through our website.

Subject to the exception set out below, we do not collect personal data on the basis of which you can be directly identified, unless you have given your consent or you provide us with such personal data, including by entering into an agreement via the website, filling in the form on our website or when you contact us directly by e-mail. Processing of personal data collected through cookies

Through cookies, we automatically collect certain personal data, on the basis of which you may be identified, which is necessary for the proper functioning and security of our website. Confidentiality

Communication of personal data

All personal data will be kept strictly confidential and will under no circumstances be communicated to third parties, unless we have obtained explicit prior consent or in case of communication of this personal data to our external technical service providers and/or sub-processors for the proper functioning of our website.

Service providers

These external service providers fall into the following categories: IT service providers, hosting service providers, software developers or providers and accountant or bookkeeper.

The withdrawal of your consent

You may withdraw the consent you have granted to us to process your personal data at any time by sending a written or electronic request with proof of your identity to info@hegge.be.

As mentioned in our cookie statement, you can always withdraw the consent you have given to us to set non-functional cookies by clicking the button at the top of the cookie statement.

The withdrawal of your consent is not possible for the processing operations necessary for the performance of a contract or the processing operations necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests or those of a third party. Therefore, the withdrawal does not affect these processing operations.

The withdrawal of your consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing operations that have already been carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal.

Duration of personal data retention

Your personal data will be kept for the period necessary for us to fulfil the purpose of processing.

This means that we keep your personal data for up to five years after you ended our contractual relationship. This period is subject to special legal provisions providing for a shorter or longer duration.

The personal data processed by us to respond to the question/comment submitted via an input form on our website or after receiving an e-mail, will be kept for a maximum of one year after sending the message or unsubscribing from the newsletter.

Your rights

Right of access, rectification and data erasure

You have the right to request access to your personal data, the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data or the erasure of your personal data.

We have developed security measures adapted on a technical and organisational level to avoid the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorised access or erroneous notification to third parties of your personal data collected on our website or by any other means as well as any other unauthorised processing of your personal data.

Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an erroneous or unlawful use by a third party of your personal data.
