The family business is taken over by Andy Coninx and Dirk De Wachter, who take over the management of the company from Marc and Luc Hegge. After four generations of family management, Marc and Luc Hegge, in consultation with the family, opted for a carefully selected succession. The decision came after the next generation indicated that they did not want to take an active role within Hegge NV. Continuity, stability and the well-being of the employees were central to their search – values that fit seamlessly with the vision of the new owners. With a solid foundation, an experienced team and a well-filled order book, Andy Coninx and Dirk De Wachter are ready to continue and strengthen the success story of Hegge NV. Andy Coninx has been at the helm of Hegge NV for more than 20 years and knows the company through and through. Dirk De Wachter, in turn, brings extensive experience as CEO to various Belgian SMEs. Their ambition? Combining the assets of this traditional company with fresh entrepreneurial energy, and thus continuing to build sustainable and innovative façade solutions. The companies Hegge Toelevering NV and Aluwing NV are not part of this acquisition and remain in the hands of Marc and Luc Hegge.
